Alvin Filsinger started farming back in the mid 1900’s in Ayton, Ontario. Back then, there was only one way to do it – the natural way. Nothing has changed since then and we still follow the same process Alvin used more than 75 years ago.
Filsinger’s was one of the first organic farms in all of Canada. Our founder, Alvin Filsinger was awarded the Lifetime Organic Hero Award by the Canadian Organic Growers for his lifelong dedication and work in the organic industry.
Our apples are organic, non-GMO, and grown and picked with care. We grow more than 30 varieties of apples without the use of any herbicides or pesticides.
You can taste the difference of organic quality with all our products. We naturally harvest and ferment ripened apples for 120 days and process everything on our family farm the old-fashioned way.
We believe in quality and sustainability and that’s why you will find all our products in glass packaging. This ensures quality and prevents leaching of harmful chemicals.
